New forums, or layout?

I have only just registered and can tell already that this forum is a bother to me, (and possibly others).


Here are the pros and cons of .Forumotion:

Pros:

It's free


Cons:

Limited layout options
Basic Forum options
Limited Cache
Unappealing in general



This is all for the current, now I'm not 100% of the current options of these sites, because I haven't even touched .forumotion in a long time, so my suggestions are.


Change the layout to a something a bit more organized with a more appealing color layout, green is fine, but it looks ugly the way it is. Bigger Quick links at the top IF POSSIBLE, once again I'm not sure if you can. Less unneeded Forum topics such as the Spam area, (maybe an off-topic area). (or maybe a new FREE or PAYED forum if possible )


Just a quickly thought up thread, tell me if I missed a pro or con or whatever, and I'll add it.


Feel free to call me dumb for anything I post, but you have to tell me why before you do .

just so you know the whole forumotion layout changed and honestly i don't like it either and if you ask anyone who saw the old forums i'm sure they'll agree it was much better. I'd be happy to switch forums but i don't see any immediate problems unless the forum gets more traffic.
